Clipping path best way to remove background of an image


Clipping path is a cropped part of an image where only a portion of the whole image appears through the shape or shapes you create with the Photoshop pen tool. You can create clipping paths to remove the background or hide unwanted part of an image. The selective part of an image which is clipped by pen tool and the background or the unwanted portion of the image can be simply separated without doing any herm of the original frame or design.

The ways you can create a path

Open the selected image with Adobe Photoshop CS3 or CS5 (depend on the version you are familiar with, you can also choose an earlier version but the capability will be limited). Create a new path and save it. Gently select the portion of your selected image by using pen tool. You can also do it with a previously saved graphics with paths in PSD or alpha (mask) channels.
Draw the path quite carefully with the pen tool in the shape you want, don't cut or intercept the object you want to separate from the background. Finally paste the selected path in a new background.
